Bandol Rouge 2023

This is the story of Marie, Nicolas, and Marc, brought together by a shared desire to make wine in harmony with the land. Marie, a trained oenologist, gained experience around the world before putting down roots in Provence. Nicolas left his native Normandy to follow his passion for vines, working organically in Bandol for more than ten years with deep respect for ecosystems, terroirs, and people. Marc contributes the roots: a family farmhouse built in 1792 and three hectares of vines inherited from his parents.Domaine Les Œuvres Vives, located in Le Castellet, produces Bandol reds and rosés crafted with care for living soils. Mourvèdre plays the leading role, blended with carignan and cinsault, and the wines are aged for long periods with minimal sulfites, expressing the full strength and finesse of this Mediterranean terroir.
