Domaine Baudon is a young estate founded in 2021 by Marine and Clément Baudon in Parsac, at the heart of the Montagne-Saint-Émilion appellation. The 3.5 to 3.8 hectares of vineyards are organically farmed and worked with an artisanal approach: cover crops of cereals and legumes, minimal intervention, horse-ploughing to avoid soil compaction, and manual harvesting. La Revue du Vin de France highlights the precision of their work and the finesse of the wines. The estate showcases two main terroirs. Les Terres Brunes, on clay soils, produces merlot with generous fruit, supple texture, and natural depth. Les Terres Blanches, from limestone and white marls, delivers a more linear, mineral and elegant expression. Small-batch cuvées, such as a parcel-based cabernet sauvignon or limited no added sulfur bottlings, reflect their pursuit of purity and terroir-driven character. With its small-scale production, precise viticulture and strong focus on living soils and biodiversity, Domaine Baudon is quickly establishing itself as one of the most promising and committed new names on Bordeaux’s Right Bank.
