Alumni is a micro‑négociant founded in 2023 by Astrid and Adrien, focused on organic farming and artisanal work. While keeping their positions – Astrid at Domaine Agnès Paquet, Adrien at Domaine Chandon de Briailles – it deliberately caps production at about ten barrels a year, giving each wine meticulous, barrel‑by‑barrel care. The house seeks frank, precise wines with character, made with minimal intervention: native yeasts, old barrels, whites aged on their original lees, whole‑cluster Pinot Noir, no fining or filtration, and a touch of homemade mined sulfur. A cuvée with no added sulfur will follow as soon as possible. Without estate vines for now, Alumni sources grapes or must from trusted organic growers it visits regularly, building long‑term partnerships. The logo embodies the balance between passion and reason, and the aim remains unchanged: craft authentic, humble, elegant Burgundy wines. “Alumni” – Latin for “student” – reminds that learning and self‑questioning are lifelong pursuits
