Based in Lemere (near Tours), Domaine François Blanchard crafts natural wines on the exceptional terroir of Le Grand-Cléré. For over 20 years, the vineyards—certified organic by Ecocert—have thrived on clay and flint soils at an elevation of 110 meters. The estate favors gentle methods, including animal traction, and works exclusively with its own grapes. François Blanchard, a former jazz musician, took over the family farm to dedicate himself to natural, creative winemaking. His wines, like La Presse 2020 (Cabernet Franc/Cabernet Sauvignon), are rare and sought-after, reflecting the unique character of each vintage.
