Jules Métras

Having settled in Beaujolais in 2014, after training alongside his father Yvon and gaining experience abroad, Jules Métras is part of the new generation of excellence in Beaujolais. His style, already well-defined, stands out with cuvées of incredible density, complexity, and aromatic intensity. Farming small plots, including very old vines in Beaujolais-Villages and Chiroubles, he produces rare wines from perfectly ripe grapes. With no chemicals, gentle carbonic maceration, natural yeasts, and zero sulfites, his wines reveal an unexpected minerality and a powerful yet light texture. These Beaujolais wines, which can be enjoyed young or aged in the cellar, are definitely worth discovering.
